UPF holds deliberation as part of Seven Years' Devastation observance

The United Peoples' Front as part of its continuous observance marking Seven Years' Devastation, organised a deliberation on the theme "Eikhoi Arnuk Khuntaklaroisi" at Leimarembi Induprabha Memorial Complex, Binakandi, Cachar.
The discussion programme, organised in collaboration with National Reconcihation Month Barak Valley Chapter witnessed the participation of various individuals who shared their views during the deliberation session.
Speaking on the occasion, UPF Manipur president, Nongthombam Rupachandra said that the organisation has been continously holding such events by bringing together Manipuri people scattered across different parts of the country and abroad, with the objective to build unity and work collectively to save Manipur.
He further stressed that merely recounting the stories of brave forefathers or paying floral tributes to their portraits would not be sufficient, and emphasised the need for people to stand together without dividing themselves along community or ethnic lines to achieve the shared vision.
Nd Hodamba also addressed the gathering as a resource person during the programme.
The event was also attended by National Reconsolidation Month Organising Committee Barak Valley Chapter chairman Nongpoklakpam Nandamohon; United Clubs Organisation, Lakhipur, Cachar, president Khaidem Kanta; and Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Assam, former vice-president Ngangom Basantakumar, among others.
