Kangpokpi, November 22 2025: In a powerful display of talent, creativity, and youthful excellence, the Thadou Students' Association (TSA) Sadar Hills concluded the Kangpokpi District Education Carnival 2025 at the Apex Old Chapel Hall, Motbung, marking one of the district's most vibrant academic and extracurricular showcases.

With twenty-two diverse competitions spanning intellectual, cultural, and performance categories, the event empowered students across Kangpokpi and delivered a strong message of educational transformation: "Let us no longer go to other states for better education - let us bring better education to our own land".

UPF spokesperson Aaron Kipgen graced the event as the chief guest, while Helien Kipgen, social worker and philanthropist, attended as guest of honour.

Highlights of major competitions:

Lhingdeikim Haokip, MBC Higher Secondary School was declared the winner of the District Schools Queen Competition, while the 1st runner-up place went to Lhingjemkim Lhouvum, Apex Christian English School and Kimjaneng Misao, Apex Christian English School was announced as the 2nd runner-up.

Meanwhile, Miss Congeniality subtitle went to Brinda Uprety and Miss Photogenic- Nemchinghoi Lhouvum.

In the Schools Idol Competition, the 1 st place went to Lenkhanpao Vaiphei, Damdei Christian College while Hoikimlhing, TL Shalom Academy and Lamneimoi Sitlhou, Baptist English School bagged the 2nd and 3rd places.

In Kids Got Talent, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners were Haola Haulallian Vaiphei, Apple Buds; Manggousong Kipgen, Apex Christian School and Hafelkim & Kimneimoi, Brighter English School respectively.

Lhingjemkim Lhouvum -Apex Christian English School was announced as the winner of the Students of the Year Award while the 1st runner-up place went to Kimhoichong Thangeo- Apex Christian English School.

Lastly, the Kangpokpi District Best School Award went to-1st place: Apex Christian English School; 2nd place- St Vincent's School, Pangmoul and 3rd place- Ideal Senior Secondary School, Charhajare.
