TGHSS kicks off annual sports and literary meet

Imphal, December 21 2024: Tamphasana Girls' Higher Secondary School (TGHSS), Old Lambulane today kicked off its Annual Inter House Sports and Literary Meet 2024-25 today at the school premises.

The ceremony commenced with a torch relay from Kangla Fort before an impressive march past by contingents representing different houses, said Sports-in-charge of the organising committee of the sports and literary meet in a press release.

The opening function was graced by Olympian and Arjuna awardee, Likmabam Shushila as chief guest who also declared the meet open, it said.

Principal Dr Vinita Devi Elangbam; recipient of National Best Coach Award, Deven Moirangthem; and M Shakhitombi Devi also attended the event as presidium members, it said.

The meet encompassing various sports and literary competitions will run till December 24, it added.
