Road Safety Awareness Programme conducted

Imphal, January 20 2025: District Administration Imphal West in collaboration with Superintendent of Police, Imphal West; Superintendent of Police, Traffic Control Imphal West; District Transport Officer Imphal West; Chief Medical Officer Imphal West, ZEO Imphal West and Nehru Yuva Kendra Imphal West organised a Road Safety Awareness Programme at Kangla Western Gate today.

The programme was conducted as part of the Road Safety Month which is being observed from January 1 to 31, 2025, under the theme, "Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Suraksha".

As part of the event, a student rally was also flagged off by Th Kirankumar, Deputy Commissioner Imphal West.

A mock drill on road accidents was also conducted to help people understand how to respond to an emergency and stay safe.
