FESOK felicitates winners of 4th State Level Painting Contest

The Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) today held the prize distribution ceremony of its 4th State Level Painting Competition at Loktak Hall, Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
The contest was organised in connection with World Environment Day 2026 under the theme "Inspired by Nature.
For Climate.
For Our Future".
Associate Professor Dr Naorem Sarita Devi of DM University, Senior Medical Officer Dr Konsam Surjit of JNIMS Blood Centre, and FESOK president Kanghujam Amarjit attended as presidium members.
FESOK health and environment secretary Surjit Sarangthem said the competition was conducted on June 7 across four categories and saw participation from more than 1,400 students.
He noted that with climate change bringing erratic rainfall and extreme heat, instilling environmental consciousness in children is crucial to safeguard the future.
In Category A for Classes I to III .
Athouba Khoibam of Tiny Tots Unique School secured first position, followed by Lamnganbi of KV Akampat in second and Chanunganbi Abujam of Little Flower School in third.
In Category B for Classes IV to VI .
Sapam Jooris of KV Lamphelpat won first, Kh Chandra Meitei of Wangkhei High School came second, and Kh Joy Meitei of the same school took third.
For Category C covering Classes VII to IX, N Korounganba of Heritage Convent bagged first, Sanahen Oinam of Pitambara English School was second, and Seram Jashita of Nongpok Maheikol placed third.
In Category D for Classes X to XII, Oinam Malemnganbi Chanu of Comet School secured first.
Sunaina Saikhom of KV Lamphelpat stood second, and Brikrama Lourembam of The Comprehensive School finished third.
All winners received mementos, certificates, saplings, and cash prizes, while seven consolation prizes were also awarded in each category.
