Imphal, March 19 2023: Kabui Union, Manipur organised a discourse on Kabui language today at Kabui Community Hall located at Keishamthong and resolved to form a Kabui Language Society.

As per a statement issued by Kabui Union, Manipur, the discourse was conducted with the firm objective to preserve the Kabui language and develop its basic structure to ensure that generations of Kabui people continue to read, write and learn the Kabui language.

Fourteen self-nominated members present at the gathering also resolved to form "Kabui Language Committee" .

The statement added that the newly enrolled members will form the working structure of Kabui Language Committee and elect their own designated persons and submit the information to the president of Kabui Union, Manipur.

Reportedly, the next meeting will be conducted within the next 30 days.
