Imphal, April 18 2025: Rich tribute was paid to renowned singer Late Aheibam Shyam Singh today during a programme held at Marjing Polo Complex, Heingang.

The event organised by Sur Tarang, Tingri Awang Leikai was graced by Co-operative Society Manipur, Registrar, Waikhom Ibohal Singh; AIR Imphal, Programme Executive, Heikhrujam Devendra; AIR Imphal's approved artist, Heisnam Raghumani Singh and Senior Broadcaster, Chongtham Kamala as presidium members.

At the event, the dignitaries highlighted the contributions made by Aheibam Shyam Singh in the field of Manipuri music.

They also emphasized the need for preservation and promotion of traditional Manipuri music.

Aheibam Bimolata, wife of Late Aheibam Shyam was also felicitated with simple gifts.
