Imphal, April 16 2023: Meitei, Meetei Yokkhat Lamjing Lup Manipur today organised a meeting at Meitei Mayek High School, Kongba.

It was attended by Meitei, Meetei Yokkhat Lamjing Lup Manipur president, N Ashok; Dr Okram Nobo; Dr L Tonon; H Indrakumar and elders of the village.

During the programme, a monetary assistance of Rs 3000 each was provided to 7 needy persons from Kongba Kshetri Leikai namely Soraisam Soro (66), Maisnam Ishorchandra (45), Sarangthem Sanatombi (88), Chanam Purnimasi (73), Leimapokpam Dhiren (73), Salam Ichal (37), and Thokchom Khambi Leima.

At the event, N Ashok shared that since its inception, the Lup has been conducting meetings annually on April 16 to discuss various issues, development and welfare activities.
