ABVP hosts Imphal Mahanagar Youth Conclave

Imphal, December 14 2025: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Imphal Mahanagar on Sunday successfully organised the Imphal Mahanagar Youth Conclave at Manipur Technical University, Imphal.

As per a release issued by ABVP Manipur, the conclave aims to provide a vibrant platform for youth to engage in meaningful discussions on education, leadership, national development, and the role of students in nation-building.

The event was graced by dignitaries, including Prof G P Prasain, former Vice-Chancellor, Tripura University; Prof Aheibam Dinamani Singh, ABVP state vice president; and Gautam Philem.

The Youth Conclave witnessed the participation of students, research scholars, youth leaders, academicians, and ABVP activists from various institutions across Imphal and nearby regions.

The conclave deliberated on contemporary challenges faced by the youth and explored constructive pathways for academic excellence, social responsibility, and national integration.

On this significant occasion, ABVP Manipur also formally announced the formation of the Imphal Mahanagar Unit at Manipur Technical University, marking an important step towards strengthening student organisation and youth leadership at the university level.

The newly formed ABVP Imphal Mahanagar Unit will be led by Laishram Jimmy as president along with Heisnam Nandita, Oinam Ronibala Devi, Haobijam Shratchandra and Laishram Chitragada as vice presidents, and Tongbram Manshika Devi as secretary.
