SP Manipur Central Prison awarded President's Medal

Imphal, August 14 2024: On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, the Superintendent of Prison (in-charge), Manipur Central Prison, Imphal/Sajiwa, Sorokhaibam Bhadrika has been awarded the President's Medal for Distinguished Service by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Sorokhaibam Bhadrika is son of (L) Sorokhaibam Biramani Singh of Uripok Tourangbam Leikai, Imphal West.

He has been awarded the medal for his outstanding devotion to duty and correctional measures taken in the prison.

Making the Manipur Fire Service proud, two officers of the Department, Panmei Gaikhaongam and Maibam Sevenson Singh have also been awarded the Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Both the officers are Leading Firemen, said the Fire Service Department.
