Imphal, January 14 2022: Many have condoled the untimely demise of Mayengbam Lakshikanta of Wabagai Awang Leikai yesterday at his residence due to a personal illness.

Thoubal District United Development Organisation condoled the demise of its former advisor and observed two minute silence in honour of the departed soul.

Wabagai Awang Leikai Youth Development Association too in a press release mourned the demise of M Lakshikanta who was the former general secretary of the association and recalled his contributions in the important matters of the State.

Also United People Administrative Council (UPACO) expressed grief over the untimely demise of M Lakshikanta , a former advisor of the council.

The members of Citizen's Association for Rural Development (CARD) Wabagai held a condolence meeting over the demise of M Lakshikanta who played a major role in the establishment of CARD and also served as the vice president for a long period.

The attendees observed two minute silence and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
