Assam Rifles organises educational workshop, distributes foldable microscopes

Assam Rifles distributed imported foldable microscopes to Bal Vidya Mandir Imphal on May 11, a school which caters to students hailing from conflict affected areas, families from IDP camps and even home to some students who have been orphaned during the strife in Manipur.
Responding to the need of the school which had no scientific infrastructure, Assam Rifles coordinated the distribution of essential educational aids and conducted a workshop on the use of microscopes, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.
The event was attended by 350 students and teachers and was aimed at enhancing the quality of education and inspiring students to explore science as a career.
A concurrent painting and illustration workshop was also organised for children along with a capacity building course for teachers, followed by a medical camp for the children.
This endeavor reflects the commitment of Assam Rifles to actively engage in community welfare, gamering appreciation from the recipients for this thoughtful and timely gesture.
The parents and members of the local communities expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for the noble gesture amid these challenging times.
