State Competitive Scholarship Examination on February 22

Imphal, December 11 2025: The Directorate of Education(S), Government of Manipur has notified all concerned that the State Competitive Scholarship Examination for Classes III, V and VII will be conducted on February 22, 2026 at various examination centers spread across 17 Educational Zones of Manipur.

As per a notification issued by the Directorate of Education(S), all students who have passed Class III, V and VIII In Government/Government Aided/Recognised Private Schools/CBSE Schools of Manipur (excluding Sainik Schools/Navodaya/Kendriya Vidyalayas and any other Government sponsored residential schools of Manipur) securing not less than 60% for unreserved, 55% for OBC and 50% for SC/ST/PWD in aggregate in the annual promotion examination in the academic year 2025-26 are eligible to appear in the State Competitive Scholarship Examination for Classes III, V & VIII .

The students who have appeared for the said final examination (Class HI, V & VIII) and the results not yet declared may also apply provisionally.

However, they have to submit the result report card by April 30, 2026 .

Application forms & other relevant information of the said examinations can be had from the Office of the Zonal Education Officer concerned from December 15, 2025 free of cost.

It can also be downloaded from the website: "www.manipureducation.gov.in".

The filled in forms countersigned by the Head of the Institute should be submitted to the office of the Zonal Education Officer concerned.

The last date of submission of form(s) by the students at the ZEO is January 30, 2026 and the last date for submission of form by the ZEO to the Science Unit, Directorate of Education (S) is February 12, 2026 .
