NEEPCO GEM workshop concludes

Agartala, June 11 2024: A 15 days' workshop under the flagship NEEPCO Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM): 2024 concluded today at the NRC Complex of NEEPCO Residential Complex, RK Nagar, Agartala.

According to a statement, 42 young girls between the age group of 10-12 years belonging to underprivileged families, on nomination by the schools located at the vicinity of Agartala Gas Based Power Station of NEEPCO, participated in the multipronged life skill training during the NEEPCO GEM Workshop.

Multi-pronged life skill training and awareness sessions covered yoga, karate, foundation maths, vedic maths, english language, computer operation, creative arts & Crafts, Personality Development, Public speaking & various awareness life skill sessions on health , hygiene, fire & safety, environmental consciousness, cyber crime, traffic rules & safety among others.

JL Das, Head of Power Plant, NEEPCO, Agartala also attended the event.
