Workshop on "Teaching Technology" held

Babina Institute of Nursing successfully conducted a 1-day workshop on "Teaching Technology" at AOI Conference Hall in Sajiwa Jail Road, Khabeisoi.
The inaugural function was graced by dignitaries, including Dr Aribam Jamuna Devi, Registrar, Manipur Nursing Council; Prof Thoudam Nandarani Devi, Principal, UNC, Yairipok and national vice president, TNAI, North East Region; and Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh, CMD, Babina Group of Companies.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr A Jamuna said that nursing curricula are constantly changing to keep up with advancements in healthcare, requiring nurse educators to continuously update their knowledge and skills to prepare students for the modem medical field.
"Continuous professional development is crucial for educators to stay abreast of these changes and maintain high standards of nursing education", she added.
In the technical session, Dr A Jamuna delivered a lecture on the topic "Effective Teaching Skills" while Prof Th Nandarani elaborated on "Clinical Teaching Skills" and Prof N Nalinibala Devi, Principal, AMCE CON spoke on "Demonstration Skills" .
Prof M Shanti Devi, Vice Principal, ITDNHCRI also gave a talk on "Evaluation Skills" and N Bindiya Devi, Assistant Professor,
CON MD spoke on "OSCE" .
