Felicitation ceremonies held at various places

Imphal, June 10 2024: Eastern Popular Club, Khurai Thoidingjam Leikai and Yaipha Lamjing Nupi Lup, Sajor Thoidingjam Leikai today jointly organised a felicitation programme of Malemnganbi Laishram who secured 1st positions in the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE), 2024 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).

The programme held at Goura Gobind Girls' College, Khurai, was graced by Salam Birendra Singh, Laipham Lakpa, Utra Sanglen Sanakonung & president of Eastern Popular Cub and Khumujam Jina, president Yaipha Lamjing Nupi Lup as presidium members.

During the event, Malemnganbi Laishram, daughter of Laishram Romen and Laishram Ongbi Jugirani was presented with simple gifts as a mark of encouragement.

Elders of the village also gave their blessings to Malemganbi and wished her success in all her future endeavours.

Moreover, Uripok Walking Party Welfare Association, Imphal also organised a felicitation ceremony in honour of the meritorious students who secured good marks in the recently declared result of Class X and XII examinations conducted by BOSEM & COHSEM.

The ceremony held at Uripok Huidrom Leikai Development Committee, Community Hall, on Sunday was attended by Uripok Walking Party Welfare Association lifetime president S Chaoba Singh, vice president Dr K Gopal Singh, vice president Ph Bijen Singh and general secretary Potsangbam Sitaljit Singh as presidium members.

During the event, Nabia Hodam, s/o H Madhabananda Singh, Uripok Ahanthem Leikai; Simran Devi Sah, d/o N Nomita Devi, Naoremthong Khulem Leikai; Phurailatpam Pushparini Devi, d/o Ph Balkrishna Sharma, Uripok Yambem Leikai and Royalsana Nongmaithem, d/o N Sunita Devi, Uripok Langol Ningthou Leikai were presented cash prizes along with certificates & mementos.

The awards were presented by the donors namely Dr Y Mohen Singh, K Lakshmikanta Sharma, Dr A Russia Singh and L Bikom Singh.
