Imphal, July 09 2025: A Village Prosperity Resilience Plan (VPRP) Convergence Mela was held today at Luwangsangbam Pukhri Achouba Mapal Community Hall.

The mela was organised by Thoungambi Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited under the aegis of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM).

The Convergence Mela, a community-driven initiative rooted in VPRPs prepared by SHGs, was held to strengthen grassroots convergence between SHGs, Village Level Federations & line departments.

More than 29 line departments participated in the mela, enabling beneficiaries to conveniently access multiple schemes and entitlements.

Binota Loitongbam, State Mission Manager, MSRLM; and Elangbam Amuthoi, Block Development Officer.

Heingang CD Block were also present at the event.
