Prof Shanta Laishram to deliver talk in USA

Imphal, July 07 2024: Shanta Laishram, Professor of Mathematics & Head of the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Delhi Centre, India has been invited for a talk at the International Conference on Fibonacci Numbers and Their Applications to be held at Claremont, USA from July 8 to 12, 2024 .

Prof Shanta will deliver his talk on the title, "Terms of Lucas sequences which are products of Catalan numbers and related results" .

During his month-long visit to the USA, he will also have an academic visit to California State University; Xavier University of Louisiana and Purdue University Northwest.

Prof Shanta's research interests are in the areas of Number Theory and Cryptography.
