AB-PMJAY saturation enrolment drive conducted at Yairipok

Thoubal, June 07 2026: With the objective of enrolling eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), the flagship health insurance scheme of the Government of India, an AB-PMJAY saturation enrolment drive was conducted today at BYFY Community Hall, Bishnunaha Pukhri Achouba Mapal, Yairipok.

AB-PMJAY provides free cashless health insurance coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year to vulnerable and economically weaker sections of society for secondary and tertiary hospitalization.

The enrolment drive was jointly organised by the Bishnunaha Youth Federation Yairipok (BYFY) and CHC Yairipok, under the initiative of District Implementation Unit (DIU), AB-PMJAY, Thoubal.

The programme was attended by District Coordinator of DIU Thoubal, Haobam Sangkha; along with staff of DIU.

BYFY secretary Maibam Loyangamba Khuman, members of BYFY, and staff of CHC Yairipok also participated in the drive.

The organisers highlighted the importance of ensuring that all eligible families are covered under AB-PMJAY so that they can avail quality healthcare services without facing financial hardship.
