CEO Manipur invites appeal for Electoral Rolls

Imphal, May 07 2025: The Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur has invited appeals for the electoral rolls that were published by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) on May 5, 2025 (Monday).

The Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur in a notification has stated that as per Section 24 (a) of Representation of the People Act 1950, any individual can file an appeal against the decision of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) to the District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner Senapati.

However in case if anyone is not satisfied with the decision of the District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner Senapati, an appeal can be filed with the Chief Electoral Officer, said a notification issued by the CEO Manipur.
