ANKLMLY celebrates Silver Jubilee

Imphal, October 06 2025: Apunba Nupi Khunnai Lamjing Meira Lup Yairipok (ANKLMLY) celebrated its Silver Jubilee at Yairipok Top-chingtha Nupi Kanglup Association Community Hall in Imphal East district today.

The celebration marking 25 years of ANKLMLY's existence was graced by dignitaries, including Soraisham Memcha, president, Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur; Asem Ibetombi Leima, president, Apunba Nupi Khunnai Lamjing Meira Lup Yairipok and Y Kunjarani, president, All Manipur Women's Voluntary Association.

Speaking on the occasion, Soraisham Memcha acknowledged and lauded the sacrifices & contributions made by Meira Paibis from the Yairipok side in public movements for the betterment of the people and the State over the years.

She appealed to the people to look beyond a candidate's political party affiliations and instead support the person who genuinely understands and cares for the State and its citizens.

"Loyalty to Manipur's cause should be on the highest pedestal and should come before loyalty to any party", she added.

Felicitation of women organisation leaders, office bearers and executive members of Clubs and Meira Paibi Lups of Andro Huikap, Angtha, Poiroukhongjil, Laimanai, Top-Chingtha, Yambem, Changamdabi and other areas under the jurisdiction of ANKLMLY was the main highlight of the event.
