Imphal, September 03 2022: A felicitation ceremony for environmental activist and National awardee Manikanta Mutum was held at the office of International Mutum Trust today at Pureiromba Khongnangkhong organised by the Trust.

It may be noted that Manikanta Mutum had gone on a solo walk across the State carrying the message of "No to Drugs" and "Our Green World".

Also he had gone till Assam carrying the same message.

During today's programme, Manikanta Mutum was honoured with a traditional shawl and a citation.

Speaking at the occasion, trustee founder of International Mutum Trust, Priyo Mutum lauded Manikanta Mutum for his noble initiative as a young environmentalist striving for the protection of the environment and to save the youths of the State from the clutch of drug menace to work for a healthy and developed society.

He also extended best wishes to the future endeavours of this young activist and sought support and cooperation from all to help in fulfilling his vision.

The programme was also attended by the elder members of the Trust namely Mutum Gouramohon, M Chaoba, M Achou, M Kesho and M Irabot among others as the presidium members.
