Heirok Apunba Meira Paibi marks 2nd foundation day

Thoubal, January 03 2026: Heirok Apunba Meira Paibi observed its 2nd foundation day at Bamon Leikai Community Hall located at Heirok Part II today.

The event was attended by Leimapokpam Amitkumar, OC, Heirok police station; Thokchom Premjit, Chairperson, Heirok Part II GP; Laishram Joykumar Meitei, president, AMESTA Thoubal District and former president of COTA; Moirangthem Rajmani Singh, Administrative Committee Member, Heirok Zilla Parishad; Jugindro Singh, Pradhan, Heirok Part III Gram Panchayat; Wahengbam Jiban, president, Heirok Apunba Club; Moirangthem Rameshwar, advisor, Heirok Apunba Club; Heirok Apunba Meira Paibi advisors M Gambhini and E Phajabi and L Pratibala Devi, secretary, Ekop Ningthou VLF among others.

As a part of the event, blankets were presented as "winter gifts" to senior citizens of Heirok above 80 years of age.

Addressing the gathering, Khundongbam Gunamani, convenor, Heirok Apunba Meira Paibi, Th Sandhiyarani Devi, convenor, Heirok Apunba Club Meira paibis of the area and representatives of various local clubs attended the event.
