Imphal, June 02 2025: The Directorate of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services, Government of Manipur, has appointed 12 of its officials as District Nodal Officers to oversee the 'issues of natural calamities affecting Livestock health & diseases in the State'.

As per a release signed by RK Khogendrajit Singh, Director, Vety & AH Services Manipur, Dr Sani Pao has been appointed as Nodal Officer for Senapati (Contact No-9612817165), Dr Bonny Bernard for Churachandpur/Pherzawl (9436031052), Dr T Bidyarani Devi for Bishnupur (9862272008), Dr Lois Hongray for Ukhrul/Kamjong (9436891380), Dr Esau Mao for Tamenglong/Noney (8974186588), Dr Chirom Nishita Devi for Chandel (9862903379), Dr E Shitaljit Singh for Thoubal/Kakching (7085545721), Dr L Ronibala Devi for Imphal East (8794543513), Dr Sabitri Maibam for Imphal West (9774014506), Dr Julie Ngoruh for Tengnoupal (9615885594), Dr H Usharani Devi for Jiribam (9856352347) and Dr Bonny Bernard for Kangpokpi (9436031052) .

The Directorate also urged the public to contact the Mobile Veterinary Unit at the toll-free number "1962" (9 am to 5 pm) for assistance/support.
