Thoubal, December 01 2025: Salai Kanba Lup (SKL) Central Committee (CC) held its annual Winter Session on Monday at Salaai Eco-Tourism Park, Ukhongshang Maning Ching, Thoubal district, with representatives from various unit bodies across the State taking part.

The session also marked the 2nd death anniversary of SKL founder-chairman Salaicha Kokngam, also known as Akoijam Jugindro.

The programme was attended by SKL chairman Salaicha L Gopal, vice-chairman Salaicha L Inaocha, Salaichaa Angom Malemkhomba and Salaicha N Indralala, who served as presidium members.

The event began with the hoisting of the organisation's flag by chairman L Gopal, followed by the gathering paying floral tributes to the statue of late founder-chairman of SKL, Akoijam Jugindro @ Oja Kokngam.

The gathering also observed a two-minute silence in honour of the departed leader, with prayers offered for peace of the soul.

During the session, SKL also honoured its members who have made notable contributions to the organisation.

They were presented with Lengyan Phee as a mark of recognition for their service.

The Winter session served as a platform to reaffirm organisational objectives and strengthen unity among members from different units across the State.
