FoH conducts awareness campaign across Bishnupur district

Imphal, August 30 2025: Ahead of the unveiling ceremony of the "Indigenous Pillar" constructed by the F ederation of Haomee (FoH) at Sawombung Kabui Khul, which depicts 25 indigenous tribes of Manipur, the Federation organised a series of awareness campaigns across Bishnupur district.

The structure, which began construction last year, is set to be unveiled on October 6, 2025 .

In a release, FoH stated that ahead of the unveiling, the FoH, Bishnupur district, in collaboration with FoH GHQ, is continuing its ongoing awareness campaign "Know Your Identity" .

The campaign initiated in 2018, has been conducted in several hill and valley districts of Manipur, and is currently being held across Bishnupur district.

The awareness campaigns were recently organised at Terakhongshangbi, Khudekpi, and Thanga under the leadership of the FoH president, with participation from members, clubs, CSOs, Meira Paibis, and villagers.

The FoH expressed gratitude to all individuals and organisations who have extended wholehearted participation and support, while also appealing for continued involvement in future campaigns.

They further conveyed gratitude to all well-wishers who had donated monetary aid and materials for the unveiling ceremony to be held on October 5 .
