Imphal, October 28 2025: The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF), in a statement, has called for an end to the "infighting among brothers" and foster a sense of coherence and solidarity in both letter and spirit.

In its letter, it reminded the "Jenchui group to learn and uphold respect for other revolutionary organizations, their true spirit, sacrifices, and achievements made for the cause of nationalism" .

"The ZUF calls upon all the indigenous people to rise together in defense of our ancestral land and rights before it is too late.

The unchecked influx of illegal immigrants has become a grave and growing threat slowly encroaching upon our land and endangering the very existence of the true sons and daughters of the soil," its statement read.

It also appealed to every indigenous community from the hills to the valleys to stand united as one against this imminent threat that "we are facing today" .

"Let there be no division, no barrier between the armed groups and the public.

It is our shared responsibility to protect, preserve, and defend our people, land, and future from this invasion that seeks to erase our identity, history and future," it said, calling on "all indigenous armed groups to cast aside hatred and mistrust" .
