Imphal, October 27 2024: Lions Club of Imphal East, Lions International District 322D, organised a Peace Poster Contest on the theme "Peace Without Limits" at SI Academy, Nongmeibung, Imphal today.

Altogether, 36 students of the age group 11-13 years participated in the competition.

Nongmaithem Korounganba (Class VII) of Heritage Convent School, Uripok won the 1st position in the contest While Wangkheimayum Hiyaileima (Class IX) of Mega Manipur School and Khundrakpam Chinglembi Chanu (Class VI) of S L Arena of Learning, Kongpal secured the 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

The poster drawn by Nongmaithem Korounganba, winner of the contest, will be forwarded by the club for next round of international judging, said a release issued by Lions Club of Imphal.

Similarly, Lions Club of Imphal Golden Pride, Lions International District 322D, also conducted a Peace Poster Contest on the theme "Peace Without Limit" at Iboyaima Hospital Singjamei today.

The club has expressed its appreciation to all the Lions members and students for their presence and making the event successful.
