UPF, NIPCO, WAMA endorse COCOMI's January 31 rally

Imphal, January 27 2026: The United Peoples' Front (UPF), Manipur, National Identity Protection Council (NIPCO) and Wakhallon Mannaba Apunba (WAMA) Kangleipak have endorsed COCOMI's all-community rally slated for January 31.In a press release, UPF has stated that members of the Front's District Committees and Local Councils will take part in the rally and extend all possible support.

In a separate press note, WAMA has also backed COCOMI's "Manipur Kanba Khongchat" and confirmed its participation.

It has urged organisations affiliated with WAMA and the public in general to halt work for the day and join the people's rally, Extending full support to COCOMI's rally, NIPCO has appealed people to take part in the rally and raise their voices against the Government of India.
