IMA CGP EZCON 2026 kicks off

Imphal, September 26 2026: The two-day "IMA CGP EZCON 2026" organised by Indian Medical Association College of General Practitioners Faculty, Manipur began today at IMA House, Lamphelpat.

The inaugural function was attended by IMA Manipur State Branch vice president, Dr Laiphrakpam Ranjit Singh; Dr Shobha Ahuja, Dean, IMA CGP HQs; Dr Amutha Karunanidhi, secretary, IMA CGP HQs; Dr Akoijam Ibohal Singh, state secretary, IMA MSB; Dr James Elangbam, director, IMA CGP Faculty, Manipur; Dr Kangujam Dingo Singh, state secretary, IMA CGP Faculty, Manipur; Dr Shyamkumar Laishram, immediate past director, IMA CGP Faculty, Manipur; Dr Ashangbam Vivekananda Singh, immediate past state secretary, IMA CGP Faculty, Manipur; Dr Mrinalini Konjengbam, chairperson, reception committee, IMA CGP EZCON 2026; and Dr Laishram Gojendra Singh, academic officer, IMA CGP Faculty, Manipur as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kangujam Dingo said around 200 delegates from Manipur, Assam, Sikkim, Kolkata and Headquarters are participating in the conference.

He said besides being an academic event, the conference will also include the convocation ceremony of the 2025 batch of Fellowship in Family Medicine (FFM-03) and Fellowship in Primary Care Echocardiography (FPCE) .

He added that this is the second East Zone Conference being organised, the first one having been held in 2025 .
