Imphal, February 25 2026: The College Week Celebration 2026 of RK Sanatombee Devi (RKSD) College of Education was inaugurated today with great enthusiasm and fervour at the college campus located in the Asha Jina Complex, North AOC, Imphal.

The celebration was graced by dignitaries, including Padma Shri Nameirakpam Kunjarani Devi, Commandant, Group Centre, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Langjing; Dr Th Premabati Devi, Principal, RKSD College of Education; and Dr Kh Ajit Singh, advisor of the college.

The College Week kicked off with a march-past by students from the four houses, setting the stage for a thrilling competition across various fields.

Speaking on the occasion, N Kunjarani emphasized that today's youth are the future of society, and these students will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation.

She noted that good teachers guide youth on the right path, fostering a better society.

She also stressed that academic excellence alone isn't enough; students must strive for overall growth and prioritize their health.

Dr Th Premabati said the annual college week aims to encourage students to excel beyond academics, in sports and other competitions.

Various activities are lined up for students to showcase their skills, she added.
