Bishnupur, August 23 2024: Bishnupur District Village Defence Force (VDF) Welfare Association has donated a sum of Rs 1,50,000 to the family of Bishnupur district VDF personnel Late Khundrakpam Hemanta Singh today.

Khundrakpam Hemanta, bearing VDF no 0808, passed away owing to an illness on August 11, said a statement issued by Naorem Rameshwor Singh, publicity secretary, Bishnupur District VDF Welfare Association.

The financial aid was extended under the aegis of Ksh Ravikumar Singh, IPS, SP Bishnupur and Satyam Takhellambam, MPS, chairman, VDF Welfare Committee.

The team consisted of Inspector Irengbam Ratankumar Singh, Committee member; Oinam Bijoy Singh, president; Moirangthem Amuthoi Singh, general secretary; Ningthoujam Sanjit Singh, cashier and ASI Soibam Deben Singh.

Bishnupur District Village Defence Force (VDF) Welfare Association has prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
