TTC appeals authorities to repair road of Tadubi town area

Due to continuous inaction from the concerned authorities to repair road at Tadubi town, the Tadubi Town Committee (TTC) has once again issued an appeal to the authority to repair the NH-2 mainly at Tadubi town area at the earliest.
The stretch along Tadubi town was stated to have been neglected for long with no major road repair although the Committee had made repeated appeals to district authorities.
"The failure to repair the road has caused immense inconveniences to daily commuters and posed serious safety hazards.
Several minor accidents were stated to have already occurred on different occasions due to the deteriorating condition of the road which has been worsening with each passing day especially during the rainy season," said Tadubi Town Committee president, Egi Kayina.
Earlier, the TTC president had written an application to the Deputy Commissioner of the district stating the extremely deteriorating condition of the NH2 at Tadubi Bazar which has been delayed for an extended period of time.
The road was riddled with deep potholes, and uneven surfaces, making it hazardous for motorists and pedestrians alike, said the president The President urged to treat the matter with urgency as the road has become a significant concern for all local residents.
With no action taken till date, the general public had also threatened to call for an indefinite strike on vehicular movements till the road is repaired and blacktopped.
