KYKL seeks help to bring revolutionaries in right tract

There is no other option than the ongoing revolutionary struggle and KYKL will join hands with other like minded revolutionary groups, N Oken, general secretary of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) said in his message, given in connection with the 17th foundation day of the outfit which falls on April 25 .
Greeting the people of the state ahead of the foundation day, Oken recalled recent observations made by leaders of some civil organisations and social workers about the present status of the revolutionary movement in the state.
A social worker had observed that the revolutionary movement in the state is the same as a virus infected computer and a civil society leader had said that the society is like a man suffering from cancer, Oken recalled while admitting that these words clearly reflect the crucial stage of the society and the revolutionary movement.
He said, in the present situation, if there is no change at the grass root level, it seems that there is little hope and the movement seems to be dying in the beginning itself.
In such a situation, it should be the bounden duty of the people and the revolutionaries to walk on the path of truth and find a way to save the society from extinction.
Waiting to die cannot be the path to truth.
It would be like leaving a patient without treatment, Oken said in his statement.
It is not a right step to search for a way to end the revolutionary movement or to propose negotiations to end the prevailing conflict in the state without removing the virus that has infected in the revolutionary movement, he said.
He further said that searching for a means to end the revolutionary movement when the movement itself is yet to achieve its goal will bring no gains but will only give a better opportunity to the enemy, the statement observed adding that such a step would be like searching for one's own grave.
The immediate need of the revolutionaries is to search for a solution to get rid of the virus that infects our society.
Oken said, it is certain that there would be a means to bring back revolutionaries who had stepped into a backward direction.
If there is a will then there is a way, the KYKL general secretary reminded expressing his hope that fractioned revolutionary parties could be brought back together once again.
The land is a place where there are so many intellectuals and people having confronted all odds including extremely difficult ones coming up before them for the last several years.
The need of the hour is to find a way to save the society from a third devastation which is sure to come if the present trend of revolutionary movement and the society is allowed to go ahead.
There is no other way except to go forward with the revolutionary movement to save the society, Oken reiterated saying that it is a firm believe of the outfit to bring back revolutionaries to the right tract, Oken said.
The outfit believed that intellectuals, educationists and think-tanks of the society will come forward and help the revolutionaries back to the right way.
The outfit will welcome any suggestions in this regard.
The room for raising questions and giving advice to the outfit is always open, Oken said, in the statement.
