Thoubal, January 23 2025: As held annually, the 20th Scientific Advisory Committee meeting of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Thoubal was held yesterday at Farmers Training Hall, Department of Agriculture located at Sanjenthong, Imphal.

The event graced by Director of Department of Agriculture, Govt of Manipur, N Gojendro as chairman was also attended by CAU Imphal, Director, DEE Prof Ph Ranjit Sharma, Retd Joint Director, ICAR Manipur, Dr I Meghachandra, ICAR Manipur, Principal Scientist (fishery) and Dr Ch Basudha Devi along with officials of Dept of Agriculture, Line Departments, scientists of CAU and KVKs, bank officials and various representatives of farmers.

During the event, Dr S Zeshmarani, Sr Scientist & Head of KVK Thoubal highlighted the activities un-' dertaken by KVK Thoubal during the year 2024, and Subject Matter Specialist of KVK Thoubal brought up an action plan to be taken up in the year 2025 and read out the annual report for the year 2024.Later, a book titled "Technology for Large Scale Adoption, 2024" was also launched by the chairman.
