National seminar, sensitization programme held

Imphal, September 20 2025:
A 1-day sensitization programme on "New Curriculum on Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) 2025 Based on NEP 2020" was conducted today at Classic Grande, Imphal.
The programme was organised by the Directorate of University & Higher Education, Government of Manipur.
It was graced by Ningthoujam Geoffrey, Commissioner, Higher & Technical Education, Manipur; Prof S Jibonkumar Singh, Dean, School of Human & Environmental Sciences, Manipur University; and Laishram Radhakanta Singh, Director, University & Higher Education, Manipur as presidium members.
The programme featured two technical sessions moderated by Prof M Suresh Singh, Principal, Standard College.
In the sessions, Prof N Sanjoy Singh, Principal, Liberal College and Kh Dinesh Kumar Singh, Associate Professor, DM College of Teacher Education shared their insight on the FYUP 2025 curriculum.
Meanwhile, a 2-day national seminar on "Decoding Indian Diets: Traditional Wisdom and Modem Perspectives" organised by the Home Science Association of Manipur began today at the central hall of GP Women's College, Imphal.
The inaugural function was graced by dignitaries, including Tiningpham Monsang, Chairperson, Manipur State Commission for Women; Prof L Rajen, Principal, GP Women's College and H Anuradha, president, Home Science Association of Manipur.
Dr Y Prababati, convenor of the national seminar was also present at the function.
