Imphal, February 20 2025: A 1-day workshop on entrepreneurship was conducted today at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Yaralpat under the "Prime Minister Schools Rising India (PM-SHRI) 21st Century Skills" .

Speaking on the occasion, Mangsatabam Tamphasana, in-charge of PM-SHRI, 21st Century Skills, JNV Yaralpat, said that skill development activities are being conducted in the school in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 .

"After conducting programmes on 21st century skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity and technology literacy.

Today's workshop was conducted as a part of life skill", she added.

Tamphasana also stressed on the need to promote entrepreneurship which is crucial to drive economic growth, create new jobs, foster innovation, and empower individuals by providing opportunities to develop their own businesses.

Many young entrepreneurs and officials of MSME were also present at the event.
