Bishnupur, March 19 2023: A cleanliness drive was conducted today in connection with the "Heikat-Leikat Thouram" of Lainingthou Lam Ahingba to be held on March 22 at Keinou Thongkha in Bishnupur district.

Speaking to media persons, a member of Thougal Lup shared that preparations have been made for the worship ceremony which is conducted annually on the first day of the Meitei lunar month of Sajibu.

He shared that the surrounding areas of Lainingthou Lam Ahingba were cleaned to prepare for the worship ceremony.

He further appealed to the public to take part in the worship ceremony to pray for peace and prosperity of the State.
