Ahead of the review meeting with Union Minister of State, Home (PMO) Prithiviraj Chauhan about various schemes and projects being implemented in the State slated for Nov 20, the Chief Secy today reviewed the progress of many schemes and projects being taken up at present.
Together with officials of the FCS Department, PWD, Home Department and BRTF, the Chief Secy studied the progress of various schemes and projects.
The review meeting slated for Nov 20 at the PM's Office will be attended by CM O Ibobi and Chief Secy Jarnail Singh.
The meeting will discuss the law and order situation of the State, track laying work of the Jiribam-Imphal railway line through Tupul, upgradation of NH 39 to a four-lane highway, initiation of Tipaimukh Dam and Loktak Downstream Project construction work, enhancement of petrol storage capacity and construction of FCI godowns in every district.
On the other hand, Secy of North Eastern Council RK Phalguni who is currently visiting the State also held a review meeting of the various programmes being implemented in Manipur under North Eastern Council funding with concerned State officials today.
