Jan Kalyan Shivir registration camps to begin across CCpur, Kamjong, Tengnoupal, Kakching and Senapati

CCpur/Kamjong/Tengnoupal/Kakching/Senapati, June 16 2026: Preparations are underway for the three-day Kalyan Shivir registration camps to be held across Churachandpur, Kamjong, Tengnoupal, Kakching and Senapati districts as part of a nationwide public welfare campaign aimed at ensuring wider access to Government schemes and services.

In Churachandpur, Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar chaired a preparatory meeting and directed concerned departments to ensure adequate manpower, infrastructure and prompt redressal of public grievances for the smooth conduct of the camps.

The initiative, organised by the Planning Department, Government of Manipur, seeks to extend welfare and beneficiary-oriented schemes of both Central and State Governments to all eligible citizens.

The camps to be held at district and sub-divisional headquarters, will facilitate enrolment and registration for schemes including Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY), CMHT, pension schemes, PM-Kisan, Kisan Credit Cards, PM Awas Yojana, PM Surya Ghar solar registrations, Aadhaar-related services and entrepreneurship programmes under Startup Manipur.

In Kasom Khullen subdivision of Kamjong district, Mega Registration Camps will be held at K Somrei village Community Hall, SDO/BDO Complex, Kasom Khullen and Community Hall, Nambashi Khullen on June 17, 18 and 19, from 11 am to 4 pm .

Residents have been urged to participate and avail benefits under various Government welfare schemes.

Similarly, Tengnoupal district administration will organise camps at SDO Office, Machi on June 17, DC Office, Tengnoupal Headquarters on June 18 and SDO Office, Moreh on June 19.Services will include fresh registrations, correction of records, disposal of pending cases and public grievances, and delivery of benefits under eligible schemes.

In Kakching district, registration camps will be conducted at the DC Office Complex on June 17 and 20, and at the SDO Office Complex, Waikhong on June 19 from 11am to 3 pm.

Meanwhile, the Senapati district administration will organise Jan Kalyan Shivir camps from June 18 to 20.As part of the campaign, a district-level welfare camp will be held on June 18 at 1 lam at the Multi-Purpose Hall, opposite the Mini Secretariat Complex, Senapati.

In addition, Sub-divisional level welfare camps will also be organised from June 18 to 20, across the district under the supervision of respective Sub-Divisional Officers to ensure wider outreach and accessibility.

The administrations of all five districts have appealed to the public to attend the camps and make use of the services being offered under the Jan Kalyan Shivir programme.
