Imphal, May 15 2024: In commemoration of the supreme sacrifice made by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) martyr while performing his duty, a bust of Saheed Constable/GDN Braja Kishor Singh of-112 Bn CRPF was unveiled at his native village in Waiton Maning Leikai, Imphal East district today.

Saheed Constable/GD N Braja Kishor Singh attained martyrdom on May 15, 2000 while fighting insurgents in Manipur, said a release issued by CRPF.

The bust unveiling ceremony was organised by 69 Battalion CRPF under the aegis of IGP Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF.

It was graced by Bajrang Lal, Commandant 69 Bn CRPF as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Bajrang Lal said that the programme was organised to honour/remember the Saheed who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation and encourage the family members of the Saheed as well.

Officers/Jawans of 69 Bn CRPF, prominent persons/vil-lage authority and family members of the Saheed also attended the event.
