Homeland Institute places 50 trained youth in security jobs, sets sector benchmark

The Homeland Institute of Security Management, under the Assam Rifles (South), held a Certificate and Appointment Distribution Ceremony at the Assam Rifles Skill Development Centre, North AOC, Sanjeevini Complex, underscoring its drive to professionalize Manipur's private security sector.
Colonel D S Lamba, Commandant of 31 Assam Rifles and chief guest, stressed that discipline, professionalism, and skillbased training form the foundation of a strong workforce.
He commended the institute's role in preparing youth to serve the nation.
The event awarded certificates and appointment letters to 50 trainees, launching their careers in private security.
Dignitaries included Lt Col Rathilesh, Second-inCommand of 31 Assam Rifles, and Khundrakpam Boby Singh, Chief Operating Officer (Skill) at DDU-GKY.
Since 2024, the institute has trained and placed over 650 youth in leading organisations nationwide, pioneering quality training, discipline, and job assurance in the region.
Homeland Group's Director Rajkumar Babloo Singh declared, "We are not just running training programmes - we are building a new standard of professional private security in India: disciplined, skilled, accountable, and competitive" .
The curriculum emphasizes holistic development, blending physical training, technical skills, behavioral discipline, and real-world readiness.
The ceremony ended with trainee-guardian interactions and a group photo, reflecting Homeland's vision to empower youth, boost livelihoods, and aid nationbuilding through skills and jobs.
