State level seminar on "Netaji and the INA" hosted

A one-day State level seminar on "Netaji and the INA" was conducted today at INA Martyrs' Memorial Complex, Moirang.
The seminar was jointly organised by the INA War Museum cum Netaji Library, Moirang, Department of Art & Culture, Manipur, INA Advisory Committee and IQAC, Kumbi College.
The event was graced by Professor Naorem Lokendra, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University as the chief guest; A Sharatchandra Sharma, retd Principal, Moirang College as the functional president and Professor O Ranjit, Head of Department, Ancient History & Archaeology, Manipur University as the guest of honour.
Teachers and students from various colleges and people from different sections of society were present at the seminar.
As a part of the seminar, the dignitaries released the "INA Calendar" and distributed certificates to the seminar participants.
Professor O Ranjit was the chairperson of the first academic session of the seminar and Dr H Ajit Meetei, Assistant Professor, Department of Ancient History & Archaeology, MU; Dr Priyadarshini M, Assistant Professor, Department of History, SK Women's College; Dr K Bidyarani, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Kumbi College; Kh Gyaneshwar, AIFB, MSC, Manipur State Secretary; Dr M Rita, HoD, Political Science, Moirang College; Research Scholar Rambha Devi M and Md Ahmed Dullah, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Western College spoke on the topics "The INA and Manipur: The Historical Significance", "Moirang : One of the Forceful Heartbreaks of INA and Manipur in the Freedom Struggle of India", "Contribution of Rash Behari Bose to India's Freedom Struggle", "God Sent Army and Its Incarnate Commander", "The INA and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's Legacy in Southeast Asia : Nationalist Sentiment among the Indian Diaspora" and "INA Movement under Netaji Subhas Leadership" .
