Nambol, January 15 2026: Radha Madhava Adarsh Sanskrit, Nambol, organised a one-day Sarala Manaka Sanskritam programme on Thursday, with the objective of promoting simple spoken Sanskrit and enhancing students' linguistic confidence.

The programme was sponsored by the Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti.

The event was graced by Professor Leena Sakkarwal, Dean, Student Welfare, Contemporary Knowledge Systems and Humanities, Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, as the special guest.

Addressing the gathering, Leena Sakkarwal underscored the importance of Sanskrit as a living language and encouraged students to use it beyond academic boundaries in their daily lives.

Eminent guests including Vedeswar Sharma, Dr P Sanajaoba Singh, Prof Sudhesna Bhattacharya and Prof Buddheswar Sarangi, Principal of Radha Madhava Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Namblo, also addressed the programme.

They share valuable insights on Sanskrit literature, pedagogy, and the contemporary relevance of the language.

Students actively participated in all four sessions of the programme, making the event interactive and engaging.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by a faculty member, acknowledging the contributions of the guests, teachers, and participants.
