KCP celebrates MFL raising day

Imphal, August 14 2024: The 20th raising day of Miyamgi Fingang Lanmi (armed wing of KCP) was celebrated today at its 131 Bn with the party's general secretary H Poirei, chief of the army staff H Ibomcha, deputy finance secretary Th Bobby and 131 BN COL Palliba as chief guest, president and special guests respectively.

Hoisting of the party's flag and offering of floral tributes to all the martyrs and patriots who had laid down their lives for the cause of the motherland were the main features of the raising day celebration.

After comrade Y Somorjit gave the welcome address, comrade L Leisemba read out the KCP/MFL military affairs committee's message, according to a press release issued by the outfit's information and publicity secretary member-in-charge S Mangal.

As a part of the 20th MFL raising day celebration, the outfit presented stationery items, clothes and sewing machines to some children homes, orphanages and old age homes apart from sharing lunch with the inmates, it added.
