Skill development training programme concludes

Bishnupur, October 12 2026: The valedictory function of the 15-day skill development training of stitching was held at the Khudekpi community hall, Terakhongsangbi in Bishnupur district.

The skill development training programme was organised by 32 Bn, CRPF, under the aegis of IG Manipur & Nagaland Sector, CRPF from September 26, 2026 till October 11, 2026 under civic action programme, said a press note by 32 Bn CRPF .

The programme was attended by L Gopal Singh, retired Professor of Kumbi College; W, Naocha Singh, Ward Member Terakhongshangbi; Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant-32 Bn CRPF; Dr Sunil Tewtia, CMO of 32 Bn CRPF; K Bikramjit Singh, Assistant Commandant, CRPF jawans and local populace of the villages.

Certificates were distributed to the trainees/ trainers on successful completion of skill training.

It may be noted that 4 sewing machines, tailoring scissors, tailoring scales and other related items were also handed over to the trainees.

Apart from the above, solar street lights were also installed in the area of responsibility (AOR) of 32 Bn at Ngangkhalawai village in Bishnupur district, added the press note.
