The Governor's Goodwill Anti-Malaria Mobile Team headed by president of De-Malaria & Control Organisation (India) has conveyed of successfully treating 160 patients living along the National Highway-53 at Barak, Kambiron and Taobam (Irang) villages from April 4 onwards.
Regretting that the medical team had to wind up the mobile medical camps due to exhaustion of medicines after having catered to requirements of the said patients, a DMCO (I) release informed that most patients were found to be suffering from malaria, viral fever, RTI and Hepato Billiary tract disorders.
Conveying that the Organisation is currently occupied with the task of collecting essential medicines to sustain the venture as basic health amenities were found to be absent in many of the remote and far flung villages, it also appealed to all concerned to contribute their mite in mitigating problems faced by the suffering public.
