CRPF reaches out to Locals

The 109 Bn CRPF distributed water storage tanks, water filters and solar lamps to the All Manipur Mentally Handicapped persons Welfare Organisation (AMMHPWO) and Government and Upper Primary School Mongsangei, Imphal in an attempt to build better relations with the public.
The materials were distributed at a civic action programme held at the Battalion's headquarters at Mongsangei yesterday.
Vijay Kumar, IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector.
attended the occasion as chief guest while N Ranbir Singh, Second-in-Command and Arun Kumar, Second-in Command, 69 Bn CRPF presided over the function.
K Haopu, Deputy Commandant; K Nogen Singh Deputy Commandant and officials of the 109th Bn, CRPF; Y Ibechaobi Devi, secretary, AMMHPWO; L Deban Singh, Head Master, GUP School and large number of school children attended the function.
Four water tanks, five water purifier, 3 PVC pipe (14.680kgs), 4 solar LED lampton with battery, panel and charger and five set of wires and accessories were provided to the All Manipur Mentally Handicapped Persons Welfare Organisation, Mongsangei while Government Upper Primary School, Mongsangei received three water tanks, three water filter, 3 PVC pipe (18.650 Kgs), 4 solar LED lampton with battery, panel and charger and 2 sets-of wires and accessories.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks by K Haopu, Deputy Commandant, ,109 Bn.
A similar programme was conducted today at fee Government Aided Junior High School, TNK village, Senapad, wherein the battalion handed over a 8 water tanks, 8 water filters, 3 PVC pipe (31 kg), 8 solar LED lampton with battery along panel and charger.

K Nogen Singh, Deputy Commandant and Raja KC, Assistant Commandant and other officials of the 109 Bn CRPF besides Inspector R Jonah, offlcer-in-charge, Senapati Police Station; Kh Warjit Singh, Head Master, Aided Junior High School; Joseph Pao, village secretary; villagers and school children attended the function.
The Head Master thanked the 109 Bn CRPF for fulfilling the long-standing need of the school.
