ZYF observes 45th foundation day

Imphal, March 08 2026: The Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF) observed its 45th foundation day at Kalaluang (Thaningkhul) village in Bishnupur district on Saturday.

ZYF (AM&N) in a release said that the programme was moderated and led by Ph Akhing, former secretary of ZYF (AM&N), while Samuel Daimei, vice-president of ZYF Manipur State unit, delivered the welcome address.

During the programme, the keynote address on the formation and objectives of the Zeliangrong Youth Front was delivered by Gaiganglung Golmei, president of ZYF (AM&N).

Former vice president and advisor of ZYF (AM&N), Ph Majalin, also addressed the gathering and exhorted the members.

Various issues confronting the Zeliangrong community were also discussed at length during the programme by former ZYF presidents and advisors M Lunglalung and Titus Kamei.

The event was attended by officials and executive members from ZYF Central, ZYF Manipur State Unit and representatives from various ZYF zones led by their respective Zonal chairman.

Several ZYF leaders and members also took part in the observance.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Thuanguanglung Gangmei, finance secretary of ZYF, Nungba Zone.
