Study materials distributed to Remedial Coaching students in Senapati

Under the funding of the Department of Minority Affairs, Government of Manipur, and with MOBEDS as the implementing agency, study materials were distributed to students enrolled under the Pre-Matric Remedial Coaching Programme launched as part of the Chief Minister's Lairik Heiminashi Program at Bethany Higher Secondary School, Senapati.
During the distribution programme, various study materials including school bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and geometrical sets were distributed to 129 pre-matric students from Class VIII to X.Speaking as chief guest of the function, Minority Affairs Joint Secretary and MOBEDS Project Director, Gangmei Ganguiliu, expressed that the Remedial Coaching Programme launched under the Chief Minister's Lairik Heiminashi Programme will greatly benefit students from minority, OBC and Scheduled Tribe backgrounds.
She added that the initiative aims to ease the financial burden of additional private tuition on economically weaker families by providing six months of free coaching classes handled by qualified instructors.
She therefore urged students to make the best use of the support provided and work towards academic success.
The event was also attended by ADM Ningreingam Leisan; Senapati ADC CEO Adahrii Maheo; Minority Affairs Jt Director Md Salauddin Khan; CM's Lairik Heiminashi Coaching Programme, Scheme Officer and MOBEDS Asst Project Officer Md Alam Azad.
